Most people ask the same first question: how much? The honest answer is that a private charter in Miami can cost anything from under a thousand dollars to tens of thousands. What moves the price is predictable, and once you know it, comparing yachts becomes simple.
How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Miami?
A private yacht rental in Miami starts at $850 for two hours in our selection, with a licensed captain and fuel included. A four-hour charter, the most popular choice, starts at $1,350. Larger yachts of 70 to 100+ feet cost more, as the table by yacht size further down shows. These are live prices from our catalog:
| Charter length | Available | Price today |
|---|---|---|
| 2 hours | 4 yachts | from $850 |
| 3 hours | 4 yachts | from $1,050 |

What sets the price
- The yacht. Length and model matter most. A 32-foot sport boat and a 100-foot superyacht are different worlds, with different crews and different fuel bills.
- Duration. Most yachts charter for 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours. Longer charters cost less per hour.
- The day. Weekends, holidays and big Miami event weeks are in higher demand than a Tuesday afternoon.
- The crew. Smaller boats run with a captain; larger yachts add a mate and a stewardess.
On our site every yacht shows its rates for each duration. Today our selection starts at $850 for two hours, and covers 80+ yachts from sport boats to superyachts.

What is included
Every charter we offer includes a licensed captain and fuel for the planned route. Many yachts also include water, ice, towels and water toys such as a floating mat; each yacht page lists what is on board.

What is not included
- Florida sales tax of 7% on the charter.
- Gratuity for the crew. It is customary in Miami; most guests leave 15–20%, depending on the service.
- Catering, drinks, decorations and special toys if you want them. We can arrange them, or you can bring your own food and drinks on most yachts.
- Long routes. A trip to Bimini or a full day far down the bay may carry extra fuel or a different rate.
How booking works
You choose a yacht and a date, we confirm availability in writing, and a deposit secures the day. With us, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the charter, and the captain makes the final call on weather. You can read the details in our cancellation policy.

How to get the best value
- Pick the right size, not the biggest. Six guests are perfectly happy on a 38-foot yacht; you do not need 70 feet.
- Go for four hours or more if you want a sandbar and lunch. Two hours is a cruise; four is a day.
- Weekdays are calmer on the water and easier to book.
- Ask what is on board before paying extra for toys.
Price by yacht size

Fees to watch for
When you compare offers in Miami, check that the quote you get includes everything. Be careful with:
- A separate captain’s fee. On a crewed charter the captain should always be part of the rate.
- Fuel added after the trip. Fuel for the agreed route should be in the price.
- Docking, marina or cleaning fees that appear only in the fine print.
- Vague "service charges".
Sales tax and crew gratuity are normal in Florida. What matters is that they are stated clearly before you pay. With us they always are.
Deposits
A deposit secures your date, and the balance is settled before the charter. Get the total, the deposit and the cancellation terms in writing. Many companies in Miami keep the deposit if you cancel within one to four weeks; with us cancellation is free up to 24 hours before.
Splitting the cost
Most groups share the cost. A $2,400 charter split between twelve guests is $200 each — often less than a night out with bottle service, for a whole day on a private yacht.
